Deliverables:

• Website Redesign

Roles:

• PM: Sam Kaye

• Web Designer: Emily Covington

Description:

Priority One Jets is a luxury private jet charter company that was looking to update its online presence by redesigning their website. After intensive competitor research, I worked one-on-one with our senior web designer to completely rework the entire site. Not only did we update the aesthetics we also reworked their custom quote form to be more efficient functionally. The form was a main component of the sites redesign as the main purpose of this site is to generate new leads and ultimately increase conversions. A custom mobile forward form was also designed and tested rigorously because 80% of their web-traffic was coming from mobile devices. My team worked tirelessly to ensure that this client was satisfied with the end result, and it came out wonderfully! Because of the complexity and high-stakes of this project, communication between the client and myself, as well as between myself and my designers was key to a successful relaunch.

 SUNY OSWEGO ATHLETICS DEPARTMENT

Spec Work

Deliverables:

• Magazine

• Posters

• Game Schedules

• Digital Ads

• Bus Decals

Roles:

• PM: Sam Kaye

• Graphic Designer: Sam Kaye

• Photographer: Sam Kaye

Description:

The SUNY Oswego Athletics Department was looking for a new campaign to promote games and matches for all its sports teams. My idea behind the "One Team One Dream" campaign was to create a sense of unity among the entire department and among the teams. This was a comprehensive campaign that encompassed both print and digital deliverables while being on a tight deadline.

I created the first athletics magazine for SUNY Oswego, while also creating signage that displayed game dates and featured student athletes. The featured athletes were displayed with their name, jersey number, position, and year. My goal was to give recognition to the players and make them more accessible to the general student body. In addition to this signage, digital signage was also created to be displayed on tvs around campus, highlighting upcoming games.

Perhaps my favorite piece of this project was designing the bus decals. These decals were meant to go on away game busses for the athletes as well as busses around the city of Oswego. The clean, minimal design was meant to highlight the photography that was displayed. All of the photographs were taken and edited by myself throughout the year that I worked as the SUNY Oswego Athletics Department's photographer. Comprehensive campaigns like this are always fun to do. These campaigns give you the freedom to create multiple pieces that all work together cohesively. This may be my favorite project that I have managed and worked on!

MANSCAPE

Spec Work

Deliverables:

• Packaging Design

• Brand Guide

• Logo Design

Roles:

• PM: Sam Kaye

• Graphic Designer: Sam Kaye

Description:

Manscape was developed as a mens grooming start-up that is based out of Washington State. The company is based around the idea of "lumber sexuality", brining a rugged yet classy tone into the branding. The client was looking for a full branding and packaging system that would help boost sales and enhance the vibe of the brand.

The first course of action was to create a logo for the brand. The logo gives a nod to the company's roots in Washington State, while also maintaining the idea of an outdoorsy rugged feeling by highlighting the silhouette of Mt Rainier. The primary target audience for Manscape is young professional men between the ages of 20 and 30, and the main goal of the company is customer retention by creating high quality, affordable products that can be used year after year.

Once the logo was complete the rest of the brading began to fall into place. We chose what imagery would be acceptable and on target, and went through the process of picking a typeface that would clearly represent the ideology and messaging of the brand. A complete brand guide was created for Manscape to reference in all of their future marketing endeavors.

Once the branding was complete we moved on to packaging. To reflect the outdoorsy aesthetic, the packaging offered nods to the wilderness and "lumber sexuality". Boxes were lined internally with a plaid pattern, while bags displayed iconic mountains around the country. Labeling was clean and minimal to reflect the high-quality of the products. Overall this project entailed a great deal of design work, detail oriented communication, and strict time management skills. Managing this project was a wonderful experience that taught me a lot about creating a company and how branding really makes all the difference in messaging.

Klein Kitchen and Bath is a home renovation company based out of New York City. I worked with Klien for two years as their marketing manager, and one year as their freelance photographer/social media manager. During my tenure at Klein I was able to produce monthly blogs, social media content, videos, photography, and live events. I partnered with a local real estate company to do monthly breakfasts in our showroom and created an incentive program for real estate agents who recommended Klein to new homeowners.

One of the most comprehensive projects I worked on was the monthly social media calendar which encompassed images, captions, hashtags, and post dates. I observed the analytics on Hootsuite and adjusted the next months content accordingly. Between social media, networking, and online marketing Klein had a record breaking year for leads in 2019. I established and tracked marketing metrics and return on investment for all marketing and advertising campaigns, so that we would have a solid direction on where to spend marketing dollars in the future.

 Prestige

Deliverables:

• Content Strategy

Roles:

• PM: Sam Kaye

Description:

This client worked on many projects with my agency, but the main project I worked on with them was content strategy for their weekly blogs. In order to properly create an optimized content calendar keyword research was an important step in the process. By taking the services that each facility offers I was able to utilize a keyword analysis site to see how hard it would be to rank for each keyword and how saturated the internet is with that keyword. From there I was able to look at related keywords and determine which words would yield the best results for the client. During this process I learned how to read keyword research and utilize that research to create relevant and SEO optimized blog topics. These weekly blogs are intended to help boost the overall rankings of the sites they are on, while at the same time informing readers of useful information on the services these facilities offer.

Budget:

$620 USD

Description:

Lorie Honor ran for Staten Island Borough president in 2021. To spread the word of her platform and campaign, I was hired to create a centralized website that would serve as a way for the public to keep up with the happenings of the campaign. Utilizing Squarespace I created a dynamic and easy to use website where the public could learn more information about Lorie. The main purpose of this site was to bring awareness to her platform and ultimately gain votes from her community. All of the content on the site was written by myself and approved by the client before the site went live. I had a great deal of creative freedom on this project, with the only real direction from the campaign bring to utilize a specific color pallet.
